Arwen Banning

Arwen Banning works full time in her studio in Swansea moving home to Wales in 2004 after working as an artist in London and New York. Arwen's work has twice been selected for the 'BP Portrait Award' at the National Portrait Gallery, the Showcase Gallery in New York, the Royal Cambrian Academy in Conwy, Christie's Auction House, London, the Mall Galleries and the Royal College of Art. Her practice has focused on figurative painting, landscape and portraiture but she has recently branched out into sculptural ceramics.
